unicorn

when i was born, technology was on the rise. and a robot chip was placed in me. every few years, it's adjusted and upgraded with the times. this chip allows me to show little to no emotion - unless i've a computer in front of me. in which case, i can emoticon my way to smilies and winkies.

and obviously, this chip does not affect my ability to make everyone laugh from the soul of the belly. i mean, c'mon. i'm hilarious.

moving on.

so last week, my robot chip malfunctioned - as it does every four to five years. and i (whispers) cried. dude. i know. eeeek. gag me. etc.

my friend kearsie often mentions the sighting of a unicorn when something rare or out of the ordinary occurs. in fact, there is this wise ancient saying I just made up. literally. it goes something like… when once thy unicorn appears to sight, ‘tis difficult to tame and lead back into the maple forest.

what does this all mean? nothing really. most likely because my chip is back in working condition. and I have no need to continue on with such sap.

:)

Oh man,

My chip shorts all the time, like, out of no where I'll get chili dogs, or smoke cigarettes and then brush my teeth with Comet...

No wait, I LIE! That's what it is...

Oh yeah, Oscar Mayer chili hot dogs, with a side of var..

i think baby gurl has a unicorn like that. and lots and lots of other ones too.

thats all i has to say. My chip prevents me from recalling any possible moments of past failure.

Those damn chips! Always acting all wonky and stuff. I'm digging ye olde unicorn proverb. And just to prove it: :)

My chip has been malfunctioning for some time now. Wait, on second thought, is probably right on schedule for that midlife mood swing crap. :(

My daughter's chip is very high functioning, however, and she has a difficult time tolerating my sappiness.

So, I'm not crazy then! :) Thanks Wendi!

I was born without a chip. I was also born without the left half of my brain. I had to get a donor. That last part was a lie. It's my jealousy of your chip talking. I need the kind of chip that filters what you say in your mind to what comes out of your mouth. I get in trouble saying my unfiltered thoughts aloud, in mixed groups.

how big is your chip?

You're probably like one of the wisest people I've ever met. You said that unicorn thing and it was like a light went off in my head. Then it went back out and truth be told I have absolutely no idea what you're talking about but probably I'm going to use that unicorn saying at some point in my life. Also, yeah you can be in the band. You missed practice though...I jedi-mind-messaged you a bunch and you never picked up. Slacker.
