i'm lactose intolerant. and yet. that doesn't stop me from eating dairy.so my amazing friend robin recently took a trip to wisconsin. where the state bird is cheese. and whilst she was on vacation, she thoughtfully picked up some aged four year cheddar cheese. just for me. dude. this is the real stuff. and i know this because it says "real wisconsin cheese" on the label. believe it.
now you'd think i would have already ripped my way through the wrapping. but i have not. i have shown extreme self-control with this cheese of mine. and this is mainly because it spent about five days in the hot mail. and it arrived hot gooey. and the cheese package felt like hot silly putty water. but still. i love it so.
also. don't think i didn't want to eat it up right away or even right now. it's just. there's only so much my flush potty can take. word.

That's a good friend...pity about the lactose intolerance...maybe you could make it into a work of art...encase it in resin and keep it forever!
MMMMMMMM ChEDVAR Cheese! It goes best with an Oscar Mayer wiener...umm...sorry.
you so tiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiny...
In life you have to take risk in order to succeed. Who ever said that never was a fan of cheese.
Wonder how it tastes?
I can smell the Febreeze now.
We must have the same toilets.
I love some cheese danish and a glass of milk, but good lord.
I feel your pain, sister.
ooooh... the post of my dreams. I love cheese too.
Four years aging. Four days in the mail. I don't know what you're so worried about. Sounds safe to me. Why not stop by Coldstone Creamery to get a lil somethin' to go with your cheese. Then you can wash it down with a nice, tall glass of cold whole milk.
OH, and p.s. I would never purposely loose my favorite stalker. Just saying. I only have the one, but even if I had more you'd still be the best. True talent.
Cheeeeeese...I'm telling you, what is not to LOVE about cheese? I recently had some bacon cheese....BAM!
those the cheese hurts, but still the the cheese - true fans indeed. go cheese!
ya know.....i just shoved the cheese in the box without even thinking about it! i say try a nibble and see what happens. next time dry ice?????
Hahaha! Good luck!
Wait, happy cows come come California. I know because I've seen them in the commercials. Is aged cheddar made from happy cows? I love aged cheddar even if happy cows didn't help make it. Your friend rocks!

hee hee that's funny.
have you seen the I Love Lucy where Lucy is trying to smuggle a very large cheese back from Paris? :)
Found you in an Etsy thread. Following.
Your cheese is older than my oldest child. How come they can age cheese, but if you leave cheese sitting out on the counter, it goes bad? I don't have enough brain cells to comprehend the aging process for cheese...or beef...
