red is the color of amore. and i don't speak finnish.

it's muffin tin monday. today's theme is "color series - red/valentine's". which is why i chose all red foods in a red muffin tin. also. i wore red-tinted sunglasses while preparing the meal. so my colors may be slightly off.

so we've got mac-n-cheese. toasted bread. corned beef. corn. and a danimals yogurt smoothie.

did you notice that i cut each food item into tiny little hearts? me neither. but lemme tell you. i create these meals for my girls. and there's definitely love in them. (insert awwww's here. or gagging noises.)

ah yes. muffin tin meals. dining at its finest.

These muffin an tin meals are such an awesome idea - I imagine your kids love them. It wouldn't work for the teens, unless the tins were the size of paint buckets.

I love that you made it with red sunglasses on. Did they really eat corn beef?

Oh em gee. It's those darn muffin tins again. I'm seeing a trend here - muffin tins on Mondays. Ohhh, I get it.

No wonder, everything looked strange. I'm wearing my tecnicolored dreamcoat glasses today and those mixed with all the red on those plates makes brown - which looks like poo noodles, poo danimals, you get where I'm going with this. So, I'll stop there.

You should look up this link if you know what's good for you. It's your theme song. I think you know what it is.

Oh, and you're welcome. Because it will be stuck in your head for ALL of eternity now.

My synopsis of this little treat will follow shortly.

I thought you said you were bored on Monday! Very cute! You should invite people over for this one time. Two people. One with crocheted slippers.

Hmmmmmm- if you were wearing red tinted glasses and gave them yellow eggs, why didn't you just save this for the orange themed food day?

Maybe I should institute Muffin Mondays with my family and serve pasta and garlic bread cubes cut up to fit the muffiny spaces.

Fancy inspired.

Your kids are going to remember this forever. "my mom used to make me lunch in a muffin tin while she wore red sunglasses, she was awesome."
