it used to be that out of the blue my hubby would say something like "oh! the mcrib is back!" and i'd be all "yay!" and then he'd be like "just kidding." and i'd be like *kicks him in the shins* and then he'd be like "you fell for it. so it was so worth the kick".well not anymore. i discovered that *buys mcribs in bulk and freezes them to last until the next limited time offer only sale* pretty much delivers me from my hubby's tomfoolery.
crazy? or crazy smart. i'll let you decide. but i'm telling you it's the second option.
also. note to self: if you eat every sandwich you buy, that leaves none to freeze.

You lie.
You ate five of those faux rib sandwiches right before writing that post, then ate the last one after you pressed the buttan! They were barely 15 minutes old man, and you wolfed them down fastvar than a Slim Jim! You can't halpert. There are none in your freezer right now I know it. You need to run to McDonalds right now and stalk up before the Mcrib season ends. Good thing they are not expamsive...don't whalst the boxes, you can gary them over to the nearest recycling receptical....
Even though they remind me of lunchroom rib sandwhiches(which is basically what they are)...I love them to death...drooling insanity love, that is.
I wasn't aware they were back and I thought I could sniff them out within a 30 mile radius...I'll have to have lunch at McD's today...weeeeee!
...urp...ahhhhh.
McYuck!
I've never had a McRib. Mostly because fake meat is a turn off, but you know what? Life is short. And I think I might make it shorter by trying one of these delicacies.
Fancy inspired. And hungry.
I like McD's. But I can't do the fake ribby stuff.
Ick.
I'm not that adventurous. Just a plain ol' cheeseburger for me.
ewww. I hate fast food, and mcdonalds is the worst. But then I am a freak, and I know that.
Every now and then I look at my husband with dread and say "you know, when autumn gets older she is going to WANT to eat mcdonalds! What will we do!?!"
A little melodramatic but I dont even like how thier soda's taste!
I think freezing them is a great idea! There are foods I love that I cant get all year round and freezing may be an option!
you're a brave woman w. the thought of eating a mcrib makes me cringe a bit... but i still love you. and i'm only slightly judging you. :)
Umm... The McRib scares me slightly.... I just... ick.
I don't like BBQ sauce. Is that strange?
OMG, my DH is the same way! I mean, he's craaaaazy about the McRib (which we call maccarib -- sorry, I don't know why). He claims they were all made in 1984, and every now and again, McDonalds thaws some out to sell.
But he eats them anyway...
I've never had one either. Am I really missing out? And I'm not sure I can be friends with someone who doesn't like bbq sauce. Is that strange?
um, the day i see the sign that the mcRib is back, i start texting the whole world to let them know the good news.
and usually 90% of my friends write back that they've never had it, or "gross"
have no idea why i'm friends with them if they can't appreciate how exciting it is when the mcrib is back! yes, very exciting.
does freezing them really work? because once i move and get a second fridge, i plan on stocking up.
YUM!
(it's not back over where i'm at. i think) :(
SITSta, I am so wanting a Quarter Pounder right now!!! Do they sell them at 7am?!?! Because THAT would be awesome.
lol! :) I've never had a mcrib! I don't know if they have had them in Canada or if I've just missed out, but I'll have to try them when I get the chance! :) Just stopping by from SITS- hope you have a great day! :)
Are they really that good? I don't eat pork...or whatever they claim to be made of and have never had one.
I can honestly say I've never eaten a McRib sandwich... I've also never eaten a McChicken or a McFish, for that matter... but I do eat me a lot of McRegular-old-cheeseburgers-hold-the-onions. Does that count?
