it's muffin tin monday. today's theme is "color series - orange".this is the thing. i live in florida. the state fruit is orange. the state flower is orange blossom. the state beverage is orange juice. and the state pie is key lime. apparently, there's a national rule about having more than three state items that coincide. i just made that up. i thought it was funny. but now i'm thinking it's not. too bad. it's late and i don't have time to re-write this whole post.
we've got vanilla yogurt in an orange cup. with two types of orange sprinkles. and an orange spoon. and cheez-its. and orange peanut butter m&ms.
i really wish "orange" rhymed with something. <--- that's me thinking out loud. and this is me linking muffin tin mom. word.

I couldn't halpert.
I am gary, gary sorry. Old halperts die hard, man.
oranges are the fruit of the Gods. And a symbol for women that have decent sized breasts. Not too shabby.
Hey, I live in FL too! I have had the argument quite a few times that strange rhymes with orange. I think it does but nobody else agrees. Ah well. Great tin!
I like the orange cup and spoon. We have CD by Ross King called Words That Rhyme With Orange CD. It has several words that rhyme with orange.
Aren't you glad rhymes with orange!
Yum! Great ideas.
I like it, looks good. Asthetically appealing! yummy too.
Looks tasty! Wish I had some of the orange m&ms here!
Yeah, well, who says that rhymes have to be "real" words- look at Dr. Seuss- a man made rich off of imaginary words...
I love oranges. Almost as much as I love you.
nothing rhymes with purple either. :)
stopping by from SITS
i second Wonder Mom's comment. smorange totally rhymes with orange.
and the oj comment on my page was for my hubby. who apparently listens to less than half of the stuff i say.
Love your little heart shaped pans! I think I was the only mom who didn't use actual oranges on orange day! LOL Cute meals!
i agree with Wonder Mom, channel Dr. Suess. It is his b-day on the 2nd or is it the 3rd?
Wow, I didn't even know states had an official pie! Here in Iowa, I'm guessing it's "cow pie." ;)
The muffin tin looks like something my kids might actually eat! Well, not the tin itself, but you know ...
Muffin Tin monday looks like so much fun.... Ive seen it on tons of blogs now and think I might have to start joining in :) My little one would love it!
If you get a chance please stop by and take part in my new meme "Show and Tell Tuesday!!"

mmmmm i love oranges!! except i hate peeling them with a passion...seriously. i made my husband do it. dang it. now i want an orange! is it wrong of me to wake him up at midnight so he'll peel one??
LOL love what you wrote. I live in Florida as well. And I love oranges, too bad they are going out of season!
Glad to have found you on SITS--your thinking-out-loud style made me giggle. I'm not from Florida, but I AM from the home of the "Orange" in Syracuse, NY. Cute post!
Best orange ice cream I ever had was on a trip to Florida when I was 13 mmmm so good!
Stopping in from SITS :)
Orange is good! Great tin!
I now wish I lived in Florida. Actually, I've been wishing that since our first big snow back in December. Winter be gone!
If you'd like, I can stop by daily to leave you random chicken trivia so you can win all your wild party games ;-)
Orange, being my favorite color, is a wonderful theme for any day!
But it is hard to find healthy AND appealing foods that taste different. Cheese and citrus... pretty much the range of flavors you get with orange food.
Good thing they are yummy- as opposed to asparagus or liver... green and red foods I NEVER eat!
Stopped by from SITS and enjoyed the visit immensely!
orange shmorange, see that rhymes

thanks for the giggle - I love those peanut butter m&ms - what do you do with the rest of them???
love this blog!
Visiting from SITS. Orange is a great color (especially if you're a FL Gator!) ;)
Mmmm...oranges...I don't think you could possibly have too many state-related orange products. Yum!
Oranges are amazing!
Well you could use two words, like door hinge. (I completely stole that from a television show.)
This post was really awesome, so random, I love it!

orange is my favorite. no, you're my favorite. ermmmm, it's a toss-up.
I am a fruit snob and only eat oranges from Florida. I live in Chicago. I spend A LOT of money every year having oranges shipped to me from a grove near Sarasota. It is worth it though.
ooh, delicious!
stopping by from SITS - glad your orange day worked out well!
Manges oranges - rhymes in French just fine.
As for the color orange...well, I've been told I have orange hair, and that orange is a really good color on me, and when I wear orange, well, I just look a little like a pumpkin...or a sweet potato...or a basketball. So how would you feel about orange if you were me? And my hair is SO not orange. But I like yogurt, sprinkles, cheezits and orange M&Ms, so pass me a muffin tin please.
(Oh, and glad you liked your award. I knew you'd do the right thing with it.)
Will you be my mommy?
I love your blog. I love oranges. I'm glad I found someone that loves stalkers as much as I do!
Over from SIS and I'll be back!
