my peacock feather headband rests gently on my bathroom vanity. it makes me happy.it reminds me of the time when this one peacock tried to attack me. and another time when a huge swan tried to attack me. and when an angry goose tried to attack me. and also when that other angry goose tried to attack me. but also when i ate turkey for thanksgiving.
this post was brought to you by leigh of "leigh vs. laundry" and her "happiness project". if you wanna play along, all you have to do is post a picture of something that makes you happy. then. you can add your name to her "mr. linky" thing. check out what makes her happy. and while you're there, let her know i make you happy.

I had hummingbirds attack me once and that is scary as well. Those little suckers are VICIOUS!
*gasp* Do you know what that headpiece reminds me of? The Melting Pot and one, ONE, glass of wine. ONE.
haha, birds really don't like you...that sucks
I don't like peacocks. All those creepy eyes on their butt feathers.
Fancy skeered.
Love that pic!
I detest feathered species of all kinds. Mostly I blame Hitchcock.
This reminds me of the time that a bird dived bombed me at the zoo...a wild bird...were it not for my trusty old glasses on my head, man, I think he would have taken my brain with him.
Nonetheless, it took months for me to convarnce myself that it wasn't a rabid bat with really bad sense of directan.
sigh.
I can't wait to go to abed tonight.
This made me laugh. I wrote a post a while back on my son being attacked by geese at the philly zoo. he's not a fan of birds either.
I was recently attacked by a mocking bird on my morning run. When I was a child a peacock landed on my head (I'm not sure they really fly, but perhaps it jumped, but my parents love to tell this story).
I just got peacock earrings from my friend today. Must be a peacock kind of day.
I want that headband.
However, I must say that it seems like the bird world is against you. That's just scary.
You just can't trust the avian species. I've had many run-ins with some very pissed-off and protective barn swallows.
I'm not sure why something that reminds you of all that violence makes you happy but...whatever makes you happy! :)
Hope you're having a good week (visiting from SITS)

In the quest for world domination, there is only one co-pilot seat.
The rest goes in baggage...
a goose hissed at me once. i don't like large birds. tevyn doesn't either. through osmosis, of course.
ack! we have the same lives. birds hate me, too...since waaaaaaaaay back. finally, someone that can relate.
