it's muffin tin monday. today's theme is "color series - yellow".it's sunny outside. and it's sunny inside. and just as i typed that out, i remembered what i had originally wanted to do for today's mtm. i wanted to do scrambled eggs. man. i totally forgot about those. eh. who needs them anyway. plus. they require cooking.
so we've got fresh pineapple with a dash of salt, bugles, yellow peanut butter m&m's, and vanilla yogurt with yellow sprinkles. while the girls snacked, i read "mouse paint" by ellen stoll walsh and "blue hat, green hat" by sandra boynton. twice. and every time i said the word "yellow", li'l tot would scream out "yellow!" and baby would scream out "ayayaya!". twice.
need a little more sunshine? head on over to muffin tin mom for a few extra doses. tell her i sent you.

Plus, eggs cause the youknowwhat.
Fancy in the know.
Cute! And now I'm hungry for bugles.
Eh, scrambled eggs are overrated. Especially compared to M+Ms.
I love Mouse Paint! Nice tin! Thanks for the heads up about the spots theme.
well of course I had to check this out when I saw the words yellow snow...psh...
Yummm lunch..now I'm hungry...
And yes...stay away from brown chunky snow too...

I love how the kids get so excited over having their normal lunch dressed up on MTM. Fun tin.
I was totally going to do a farmer breakfast this morning, since we're doing farm week, and make eggs with potatoes and cheese-um, I forgot too. Love the yellow food, especially the m&ms!
i had the same thought about yellow snow. Cute tins. I love that your girls were screaming YELLOW! (or "ayayaya!" in Baby's case) Nothing like a nice quiet meal. =]
We are a Sandra Boyton family! Very cute lunch and nice tie-in with the color books.
Oh man! I forgot about scrambled eggs too! Your tin looks great!
Peanut butter M&Ms - yum! I want to snack at your house. Would you read One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish to me while I do?
Man,
You have sooooo many pretty muftan tins...they don't look old or gareysy like mine; they are in need of some good varnish...hmmmmm
What a great looking tin.
I have been inspired...I will now replace saying "yellow" with "ayayayaya." (Do ya think I'll get any funny looks?)
yellow's a good color. it's the color of the sun. the color of dandelions. and the color of a person's toenails when they wear nail polish for too long and finally take it off.
gah! why do i keep talking about nails?
Tristan makes me laugh... well, everyone who posts on here does, actually.
I seriously have a hankering to have more babies so I can do all these new fun Mommy things with my own children, you know. Maybe I'll have to wait until I'm a Grandmother. I suppose that WOULD be easier. (But then, Motherhood is never ever about easy, now is it? If it is, I completely missed the manual on that.)
MY muffin tins would have had: Yellow Bell pepper strips, sweet corn, yellow (Gouda) cheese, Miel Pops (Sugar pops) and whole milk yoghurt sprinkled with yellow sugar crystals. OK, I feel like I have contributed.
cute muffin cups and yummy foods.
great idea to read with it!
I was going to do scrambled eggs too, but egg salad prevailed! I have never heard of salt on pineapples, we used to put it on cantaloupe and tomatoes, I'll have to try it the next time we have pineapples.
My favorite yellow is the way our youngest granddaughters says it! "Lello slug bug, Gwamma!"
Now I want scrambled eggs.
cute, cute, cute, cute and cute!!!!
Seriously!
And I really want those cute cups!
