they're given to me. i don't ask for them. i mean. sometimes i do. but not this time.

it's time for another awards post. but this time, i'm doing something a little bit different. see. i got to thinking. awards are no small potatoes. so. what i've got right next to me is the finest drink available in this house. which means i'm sipping on "welch's sparkling red grape juice cocktail (non-alcoholic)". watered down. in a plastic cup. can't fake this sort of classiness. cheers.

first up. the "sunshine award". you're about to be blinded because this award was given to me by not one - but two - bloggers. word. apparently, i'm the sunshine of vanessa's (much more than mommy) blogging life. and. according to leanne (my home and my hips are both double wide), i'm a strange bird that gets a little scary when armed. or something like that. idk. that's the version i like.

- the husailey bunch - because it's like watching the brady bunch all over. only. better and not corny.

- olive street studio - because she needed a little extra sunshine this week.

the next award i received is from kayli of beauty from ashes. it's the "beautiful blogger" award. with this award, i'm supposed to state seven things about myself. but there were no specifics on the seven things. so.

4. but it makes me cra-cra-cra (fade out).
5. sometimes i wish i were a song writer.
6. i definitely shouldn't write cards for hallmark.

- jenny matlock - because she's beautiful. and she'll always be so. even if she runs into her husband's ex.

i also received the "you make the camera dance" blog award. bestowed upon me by kimmy kim kim of a parent's life to behold, through the eyes of insanity and bliss. she said that i dazzle my readers and that my posts come to life. then she mentioned something about me setting trends and break trends and running for president. of her fan club.

i now pass this award on to:
- the transient pod - because she asked me to dance. and i declined. so. this is as good as it gets.
- my home and my hips are both doublewide - because from the sound of her blog title, i'm betting she can shake it.

- mommy's heart - because i've seen her do the running man.

ok. this is where things get a little tricky. well. more like tricked out. because i made my own award. it's the "i'd follow you even if i were lost" award. this one goes out denise of teddy started it. she made me an award once. (it's mine and i'm not sharing.) and i thought it'd be fun to make her one. i know she's a fan of lost. but the thing is. i've never seen the show. and she mentioned that she found one of the actors to be deliciously hawt quite talented. i hope it's this guy. because he's the one i put on the award.
