walking is good for your health. unless you get run over. the garage sale chronicles.

these are my garage sale chronicles. sometimes i talk about rules. sometimes i talk about finds. but mostly i'm just interested in looking inside people's garages.

today: one step at a time.

sometimes there isn't room to park in front of the actual garage sale. there have been times that called for parking four to five houses down. and while i'd rather park close, i don't mind the distance. it's good conditioning for the legs. and. dodging the cars that are in a hurry to leave is great agility training.

also. wearing comfy shoes is a must. but when it comes to buying, comfy isn't all that important. especially when you're buying fancy dress up heels like the ones pictured (which are part of a set of six, practically new, and still in the box shoes that i got for only two dollars).

oh and one more thing. this post is a scheduled post. because right today, i'm running towards something that isn't in someone's driveway, yard, etc. i'm participating in disney's royal family 5k (part of the princess half marathon weekend). that's right. sometimes, you've got to give up a day of garage sales for your health. physical health, that is. because it's certainly a butt load of mental anguish just to think about all the fifty cent items i'm missing out on.

You said 'Garage Sale'... now the tic is back.

I used to love them. The 10-step plan is (kinda) working. Couple that with: They are non-existent here.

I hope you have a fun run. *respect*

i knew this was scheduled. you sneaky fox. can't wait to see you running your little heart out in your tutu. those are some b.a. shoes. did you run in those? or did you hit someone with them? a yes answer to either question is acceptable.

Oh now...I know you are wevaring those pink andymal print mules while ryanning! Good thing they weren't old man, you wouldn't wear shoes that had someone else's tobys in them!

All you crazy girls are dressed to the halt as pamcessess; who needs good schrutes when it's hall about how you look? I hope you come in first place, because you strive for pertfection, and the picture is at a good angelat least...sectand place is unacceptable. Third and I will laugh at you. Anything less I'll ask you if you even ran...but then I'll remember you wore those shoes...I hate running I have weak andykles...it ocscary thing...

No-one really has garage sales, here - which is a shame, because I'd love them. I do occasionally make it to a car boot sale.

I am so glad that garage sales put you in such great condition for the 5K. And I am totally going with you next time, because a) I want to train and b) I can't believe you have shoes like that and I haven't seen them.

I just caught The Man stalking your blog. I think he wants me to have these shoes. Or maybe HE wants to have these shoes. He'd look hot in pink leopard. (OK, maybe not.)
