last wednesday, i withdrew li'l tot from first grade. my intent is to homeschool for the rest of the school year. yada yada yada. i rarely feel the need to explain myself.
i've pretty much gone through every emotion there is in the past four days. at this point, i'm committed to the decision that was made. and hopefully by the end of the school year, i will not be *committed* to the local mental health facility. but should that be the case, just know that i won't be dragged away in a long skirted denim jumper. it'll be corduroy. with matching hand-embroidered rhinestone vest.

How did we end up in alternate universesseseesesss?
Maybe if we spin around fast enough, we will end up in Epcot at the same time, and walk like everyone there too...
Make sure that house has no bugs.
Tater tots.
Well, I don't know all the details, but I remember a few of the hassles you were going through. Sorry it didn't work out with the school, but I hope she really enjoys homeschooling and thrives with it :-)
we just recently went to our hometown high school's homecoming parade....after seeing the specimens that were representing the school, i'm thinking we will definitely homeschool after elementary. heck, i'd probably do it now....'cept the elementary school is nice enough to employ my crazy behind ;)
I may be joining you because the school has decided so many things I don't sgree with it isn't funny.Bravo my friend I am sure there are more lessons at Disney then in the public school system anyway!
Go you! You know what is best for your child. Even if you do wear a rinestone vest...
She has the best teacher in the whole world. It sounds like the best decision for both of you.
WOW.....WOW! Good for you. I have a friend who pulled hers from K to home-school. How is it going?
We'll be in Disney next weekend....woo hoo....use your passes!
